1. Overview

At Canora Diamonds Inc., every piece of jewellery and every diamond is carefully inspected, beautifully packaged, and delivered with the utmost care. We offer fully insured shipping on eligible orders to customers in Canada, the United States, and France.

For your peace of mind, parcels are shipped discreetly with no external indication of the valuable contents inside — ideal for surprise proposals and gifts.

2. Delivery Regions

We are an online-only jeweller. We do not operate physical retail stores or showrooms. All orders are shipped directly to your chosen address.

We currently ship to:

3. Processing and Production Times

3.1 Ready-to-Ship Items

In-stock jewellery and loose diamonds that are ready for dispatch typically ship within 1–3 business days of order confirmation and payment clearance.

3.2 Made-to-Order and Custom Items

Custom engagement rings, bespoke jewellery, and made-to-order diamond settings are handcrafted to your specifications. Finished jewellery is manufactured by our partner facilities in India, after which items are quality-checked and shipped to you from our fulfilment operations.

Production times are estimates and may vary based on design complexity, diamond availability, metal selection, seasonal demand, and international production and logistics schedules. Your order confirmation will include an estimated dispatch date.

3.3 Expedited Production

If you need your item urgently, contact our jewellery specialists. In certain cases, we may be able to expedite production for an additional fee:

Expedited service is subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed for all designs.

4. Shipping Methods and Carriers

4.1 Canada

Orders are shipped via fully insured courier service (e.g., FedEx, UPS, or Canada Post Expedited/ Xpresspost with insurance and signature requirement) at no additional charge for standard delivery on eligible orders.

  • Signature required on delivery for all orders over CAD $500.
  • High-value orders may require in-person ID verification upon delivery.

4.2 United States

Orders are shipped via fully insured courier (e.g., FedEx, UPS) with signature required on delivery.

  • Delivery times: typically 3–7 business days after dispatch for standard shipping.
  • Express shipping options may be available at checkout for an additional fee.

4.3 France

Orders are shipped via fully insured international courier (e.g., FedEx International Priority, DHL Express) with signature required.

  • Delivery times: typically 5–10 business days after dispatch.
  • Customs clearance: where applicable, import duties and VAT not collected at checkout may be assessed by French customs upon arrival. We recommend contacting us if you have questions about all-inclusive pricing.

6. Insurance

All shipments are fully insured for the full value of the order from the moment the parcel leaves our facility until it is delivered to you or an authorised recipient. In the rare event of loss or damage in transit, contact us immediately at support@canoradiamonds.com.

7. Packaging

Your jewellery or diamonds will arrive in luxurious, secure packaging designed to protect the item during transit. Packaging is discreet — there is no external branding or indication of jewellery contents.

8. Tracking

Once your order ships, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number. You can monitor your delivery through the carrier's tracking portal.

9. Delivery Address

9.1 Standard Delivery

Orders are shipped to the address provided at checkout. Please ensure your address is complete and accurate. We are not responsible for delays or losses caused by incorrect addresses.

9.2 Alternate Delivery Address

We can deliver to an address different from your billing address. For security reasons, orders paid by credit or debit card to an alternate address may require additional identification and proof of address.

Note: Orders paid through certain third-party payment methods (e.g., PayPal, Shop Pay Installments, or financing providers) may be required to ship to the billing address for security and fraud prevention reasons.

9.3 PO Boxes and Military Addresses

High-value insured shipments generally cannot be delivered to PO Boxes. APO/FPO military addresses may be accommodated — contact us before ordering.

10. Failed Delivery and Redelivery

If delivery is attempted and no one is available to sign, the carrier will typically leave a notice with instructions for collection or redelivery. Parcels are held for a limited period before being returned to us. Contact the carrier promptly to arrange redelivery.

If a parcel is returned to us due to failed delivery, we will contact you to arrange reshipment. Additional shipping charges may apply.

11. Online-Only Sales

Canora Diamonds Inc. sells exclusively through our website. We do not operate physical retail stores, showrooms, or pick-up locations. All orders are delivered by courier to the address you provide at checkout.

12. Taxes and Duties

12.1 Canada

Applicable GST/HST and provincial sales taxes are calculated and charged at checkout.

12.2 United States

Applicable state and local sales taxes are calculated at checkout where required. No import duties apply to domestic US shipments.

12.3 France

VAT (TVA) at the prevailing rate is included in the displayed price for French customers where stated. For shipments from Canada, import VAT and customs duties may apply upon entry into France if not collected at checkout. Contact us at support@canoradiamonds.com for clarification on your order.

13. Risk of Loss

Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery to the address specified in your order. Please inspect your parcel upon receipt and report any damage or discrepancy within 48 hours to support@canoradiamonds.com.
